"(video) of Twine Partners With Pebble Smartwatch"

Twine Pebble

Twine the real world sensor, you might remember from back in January, that also started its journey from concept to manufacture on Kickstarter. Has today announced that its
partnered with the latest Kickstarter phenomenon the Pebble smartwatch, which has just raised over $10 million in funding from Kickstarter.
The Twine sensor is low-power device that works with real-time web software to make networked physical computing simple and versatile, say its creators, and will now provide updates directly to your Pebble smartwatch. Twine explains a little more about the partnership and what it will mean to both parties and users.
“We’re pleased to announce that Twine will talk to the Pebble smartwatch. In Twine’s web app, you’ll be able to relay word of real-world events, like a basement flooding or a door opening, to the Pebble on your wrist. Welcome to the future!
Eric and the rest of the Pebble people are true gentlemen, and we’re happy to be working together to make your world even more connected. This idea got rolling when Nathan, a backer of both our projects, made the suggestion. And we expect that once again, you’ll come up with more great ideas that will surprise us!”
Twine is equipped with a wireless module tightly integrated with a cloud-based service, with on-board temperature and vibration sensors, and an expansion connector allowing you to connect additional sensors if required.
